General Practitioner - Health Screener, Private Clinic Opportunity - Glasgow

OverviewI have an exciting opportunity in Glasgow City Centre. Due to expansion, the following role is available for a luxurious city centre clinic. They are flexible with which days you can work and can offer 8 sessions per week if preferred.

RoleHealth Screener - 6 sessions per week

Location and environmentThe clinic provides private healthcare to corporate clients (e.g., Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan). The patient cohort is generally the “working well”. The team is friendly and supportive. Appointment times vary from 15 minutes for a GP appointment to 90 minutes for an in-depth health screening.

Responsibilities and proceduresIn GP consultations and health screening appointments, duties may include taking bloods, vaccinations, smear tests, ECGs, prostate checks, breast exams, prescribing drugs, travel advice, or ordering further on-site tests. Training can be provided for any of these if needed. You will have instant referral access to leading specialist consultants into world-class facilities.

RequirementsYou must be on the GMC Register, but you do not need to be on the Performers List. You must be able to commute to Glasgow City Centre easily.

Salary and benefitsSalary for the Health Screener role is £98,000 per annum (FTE) + Private Healthcare. There is a range of other benefits.

Hours are 8.30am–5.30pm. You get an hour for lunch (1–2pm) and half an hour for admin both AM and PM.
