Role Description

GP to cover 6 sessions with pro rota on call commitment; to be worked Mondays-FridaysExperienced or newly qualified GP who can work independently following initial induction periodSeptember 2025 start

The delivery of highly effective medical care to the population.

Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance

Effective management of long-term conditions

Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions, and other associated administrative tasks.

On a rotational basis undertake the role of duty doctor

Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.

Collaborative working

Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.

Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Attend and contribute effectively to practice meeting as required.

Ensure compliance with the appraisal process.

Prepare and complete the revalidation process.

Commit to self-learning.

Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure.

Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies.

Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Applicants must have current UK professional registration.Proficiency in Medicine and Primary CareParticipation in ongoing Training programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentRelevant medical qualifications and certificationsExperience in a general practice setting
