Plant Attendant Fife Shift-Based Role We are currently supporting a leading energy and waste processing facility in Fife that is looking to recruit a Plant Attendant to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working in an industrial plant, utilities, waste, manufacturing, or process environment who is looking to develop their career within the growing energy-from-waste sector. The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient operation of the plant, assisting with waste handling, plant monitoring and general operational duties. Responsibilities Coordinating incoming waste deliveries and assisting with fuel handling operations Operating plant equipment including front loading shovels, forklifts and overhead cranes where required Carrying out routine plant inspections and monitoring equipment, gauges and alarms Supporting plant cleaning and housekeeping schedules Assisting with planned maintenance, blockages and operational issues Ensuring all work is carried out safely in line with company procedures Working at height and within confined spaces where required Requirements We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Industrial plant operations Process / manufacturing environments Waste management or recycling facilities Power generation / utilities plants Paper mills, chemical plants or heavy industry Additional experience with forklift trucks, front loading shovels or ..... full job details .....
