General Operator - Electronics

We''re recruiting for a General Operator to support PCB assembly/manufacturing activities on an on-site contract in Bolton.

• Location: Bolton (On-site)
• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: -25.38 p/h Umbrella, rising to -26.70 p/h Umbrella after week 12
• Hours: 37 per week
• Clearance: BPSS required, UK Eyes Only

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed standard assembly / manufacturing activities in line with defined procedures.
• Complete work to required quality standards, safety requirements, and timescales.
• Support the efficient movement of work and information within the manufacturing area.
• Adhere to agreed standards and behaviours at all times.
• Comply with all health & safety requirements.

Skillset/experience required

• PCB Assembly experience.
• Strong manual dexterity for fine work.
• Ability to read and interpret layouts.
• Able to follow instructions accurately.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• PC literate.
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns.
• IPC-610 certified/trained (preferred).
