General Labourer (Engineering)

Location: Rochdale, OL11
Hours: 39 hours per week – Days 7am to 3.30pm LOTS OF OVERTIME
Would need to be flexible in terms of hours some days will be 7-5 etc
Rate: £12.71 per hour
Duration: Temp to perm

We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable General Labourer to join our busy engineering/warehouse team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Helping with drilling, grinding, polishing and deburring parts
• Moving, storing and disposing of materials safely (COSHH)
• Clearing coolant and swarf from machines
• Collecting and putting away tools and equipment
• Following site rules and work instructions
• Keeping the shopfloor and outside areas clean, tidy and safe

• Able to work on your own and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting
• Can follow written instructions and work efficiently
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
