General Operative

Great opportunity to work as a General Operative for our client''s family-run business, committed to offering our customers great deals on a vast range of products and services. Staffline is recruiting General Operatives in Chesterfield. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are: - 8:30am to 5pm Your Time at Work As a General Operative your duties include: - Unloading and loading various items to be auctioned, from small individual items to large furniture and machinery. - Mainly handball and manual work with order sheets. - Itemising stock, labelling, pricing, merchandising and locating and de-locating all ready for sale by auction and loading to customers'' vehicles, with pallet trucks occasionally. The work environment is a busy, open space that fills up with stock and rotates quickly. Safe working practice, not rushing, and good spatial awareness are essential. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be physically fit and able to do manual handling. You will be punctual and reliable. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
