General Operative North Derby Full-Time Temporary to Permanent Monday to Friday Site BasedSF Partners are supporting a loyal client who are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Heanor.This is a full-time, site-based opportunity starting on a temporary basis, with a view to becoming permanent for the right person.The role will support day-to-day production operations, helping to ensure stock and materials are managed effectively and the working environment remains clean, organised and safe.Duties will include: Receiving and dispatching goodsMoving, handling and organising stock and materialsMaintaining an orderly stock management process throughout the facilityGeneral housekeeping and keeping internal and external work areas clean and tidyAssisting with the correct disposal of wasteSupporting general production and operative duties as requiredFollowing site health and safety procedures at all times The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience within a general operative, warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience operating forklift trucks or Overhead Cranes, valid certificates requiredPhysically fit and comfortable working within a hands-on roleReliable, organised and able to manage multiple tasksGood verbal and written communication skillsA positive attitude towards health and safetyBasic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, would be advantageous Monday to Friday, 8:00am ..... full job details .....
