Job Title: General OperativeLocation: ColchesterPay: 12.71Contract: TemporaryHours: 7.30am-4.30pm, Monday to FridayWe are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Operative to join an Agricultural company based in Colchester, Essex on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in agriculture and horticulture or a keen home gardener. Own transport is required due to the location General Operative Responsibilities:Assist with daily nursery tasks, including planting, watering, pruning, and propagating plantsMonitor plant health, identifying any signs of pests or diseases and taking appropriate actionAssist with stock management, including inventory tracking, restocking, and rotating plantsSupport with the loading and unloading of deliveries, as well as the preparation of customer ordersThe Ideal General Operative:A genuine interest in plants and gardening, with a willingness to learn and develop new skillsStrong work ethic and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy itemsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, outdoor environmentPrevious experience in horticulture or a similar role is a plus, but not essential as training will be providedHours and Pay:Monday to Friday7.30am-4.30pm 12.71 p/hIf you are interested in applying to this role, please click Apply Now.Call Sam to go over the details or head over to our website for more exciting ..... full job details .....
