General Operative

Warehouse Operative 

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established company specialising in the production of steel products. This is a varied, hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to learn multiple skills across the production process.

Pay and Hours:

- £12.71 per hour

- Overtime available at a premium rate

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

- Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Packing finished concrete products ready for dispatch

- Packing products directly from production machinery

- Operating press machines (full training provided)

- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

- Assisting with general warehouse and production duties

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Requirements:

- Strong work ethic and reliability

- Ability to work in a physically demanding role

- Good attention to detail, particularly for quality control

- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks

- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential

- Experience using SAP systems would be beneficial but is not essential
