This would be an excellent opportunity to join a leading recycling business with a presence in four continents. As such, they are keen to make a long-term investment into new staff members who are looking to secure a career in the metallics industry.Main responsbilities for our Metal Recycling Operative role include:- Strip parts down with use of hand tools- Sorting parts into seperate categories by hand- Use of Forklift truck to move the granulated productsaround the shop floor- Working in a sampler station to help identify the concentration of precious metals in each component (e.g. platinum/radium)Although you will likely be assigned a core area, it would be the company''s vision to offer cross-training in multiple areas to maximise your knowledge. Workwear will be provided, it may be worth noting that you will be required to wear a full protective mask and visor to help provide proper ventilation.For all applicants we are seeking the following core skills:- Trustworthy and hard-working attitude- Encouraged to learn new skills- Somebody with proven experience in a manufacturing/ engineering/ process plant environment- Comfortable with working in an environment that can be dusty- Able to use basic machinery and hand tools- Requirement of an in-date Counterbalance ..... full job details .....
