Salary: National Minimum Wage

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a General Operative to join their manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, supporting manufacturing, packaging and dispatch operations while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within manufacturing.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with manufacturing and production activities.
• Preparing materials ready for production.
• Filling, labelling and packaging finished products.
• Carrying out basic quality inspections.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting other departments as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Must hold a full UK licence and have a vehicle.
