General Operative

We are looking for a General Operative to join our team in Howden, East Yorkshire, supporting with the manufacturing of high-quality worktops and breakfast bars in line with approved specifications.In this role, you''ll play a key part in maintaining production standards, continuously looking for ways to improve processes while ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. You''ll also take responsibility for machine output, product quality, and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.Location HowdenContract Type Full-Time - PermanentPay £35,786.40 + Shift AllowanceShift 2 week rotating (40 hours)Week 1 Monday - Wednesday 16:00 - 02:30, Thursday 15:30 - 01:30Week 2 Monday - Wednesday 05:45 - 06:15, Thursday 05:45 - 05:45What will you be doing as a General Operator: Monitoring quality and performing detailed process quality checks in accordance with the area SOP and recording performance, quality and production dataHandling raw materials and labelling stockManaging stock of pallets, ratchets and strapsProduct confirmations on MES using SAP hand scannersRemoval of rejected components and ensuring the area is maintained to the agreed housekeeping standardsUse of FLT to deliver components to customers and to load / unload trailersTo support the breakfast bar packing processTo support the production processes when requiredWhat do you need to qualify for the General Operator: Production and / or manufacturing experience working in a fast-paced factory ..... full job details .....
