General Operative

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Morley.This is a varied, hands-on role where you will support the day-to-day production process, helping to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will be willing to learn, work well as part of a team, and take pride in producing quality work.Their LEEDS-based facility is based just a few minutes from the M62 and M1 motorways, meaning the successful candidate will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns and cities, including Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield and Dewsbury.Key Responsibilities of the General Operative Load, unload and move materials safely around the workshop and yard.Prepare and organise products ready for storage, collection and delivery.Keep the yard and work areas clean, tidy and safe.Support stock control and carry out general labouring duties as required.Work as part of a team to meet deadlines while following health and safety procedures.
