General Operative - De-vegetation / Civils

Job Opportunity: General Operative (De-Veg)Location: Birmingham (Flagship Civils Project) Term: Ongoing / Seasonal (Summer 2026) Rate: Competitive (DOE)We are currently seeking hardworking General Operatives with De-vegetation experience to join a major flagship civil engineering project in Birmingham. This is a seasonal role expected to run throughout the summer months, focusing on large-scale site clearance and vegetation management.The RoleWorking as part of a specialist clearance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the site remains clear of overgrowth to allow for primary construction works.Vegetation Clearance: Using strimmers, brushcutters, and hand tools to clear scrub and weeds.Waste Management: Operating wood chippers and ensuring the safe disposal of green waste.Site Maintenance: Supporting the wider civils team with general groundworks and keeping the site perimeter secure and tidy.Mandatory RequirementsCSCS Card: Green (Labourer) or higher is essential.De-Veg Experience: Proven experience in commercial or industrial vegetation clearance.Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of site safety, particularly around heavy plant machinery.Reliability: Ability to commute to various sites across the Birmingham area.Desirable "Tickets"NPTC/LANTRA Brushcutter and StrimmerWood Chipper certificationFirst Aid at WorkFull UK Driving LicenseWork ScheduleDuration: Full-time hours, ongoing through the summer season.Start Date: Immediate starts available for the right ..... full job details .....
