Salary: £12.50 Day rate £14.00 Night rate

Contract Type: Full time, Temp to Perm 

Hours: Rotating shifts including days and nights

Sector: Manufacturing 

Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is looking for a General Operative to join their team on a temp to Perm basis.

As General Operative your duties will include:

• Basic plumbing, including pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installation
• Experience in spray painting, including surface preparation, masking, and use of spray equipment
• General handyman skills such as minor repairs, maintenance, and tool handling
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
• Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving equipment and materials
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts when needed

An ideal candidate for the General Operative role will:

• Prior experience in an industrial or facility maintenance setting
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
