General Operative – Scunthorpe

£27,040 – £31,200 per year | Monday – Friday | Temp to Perm

Are you experienced in manufacturing or production? Looking for your next long-term role? Want a permanent contract after just 12 weeks and no weekend work? This could be the General Operative role for you!

Hours of work:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 – 13:30 (early finish!)

Salary & bonuses:

• £13.00 per hour starting rate
• Increase to £15.00 per hour after 12 weeks – or as early as week 2 depending on performance
• £25 per week attendance bonus after 12 weeks
• £100 refer a friend scheme after 12 weeks

Main duties:

• Using a roller to spread resin onto sheets and moulds
• Soaking fibreglass in resin and moulding around products
• Quality checking finished items
• Working on the same station for most of your shift, with occasional rotation

Requirements:

• Previous long-term work history is essential
• Manufacturing or production experience is essential
• Comfortable standing and performing repetitive tasks
• Able to work in an environment with a strong chemical smell (experienced during job trial)
