This well established engineering and manufacturing company in the Knaresborough area are seeking a General Operative to assist in the workshop.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in metal working.

The role will initially be temporary, however this could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The role:

• Working across a variety of departments such as painting, powder coating, machine operating and spot welding
• Handling and packing of materials and finished goods
• Undertaking basic quality inspection of finished parts
• Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Learning different processes and machinery within the business

The Person will:

• Have strong attention to detail to ensure high quality
• Be willing to learn and develop with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Any previous experience within engineering or manufacturing would be of great interest
• We are keen to hear from people who have a genuine interest in fabrication
• Must be immediately available and happy to work on a temporary to permanent basis

Hours of work: 7am-3.30pm, Monday - Friday
