Job Title: General Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our client on a National Grid project.

Requirements:

• Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
• Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or construction projects
• Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to undertake a variety of site duties

Duties:

• Assist with general site operations and support trades and plant operators as required
• Carry out manual handling and labouring duties safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Follow site instructions, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
• Assist with material handling, site set-up, and other project-related tasks
• Adhere to all National Grid safety standards and company procedures
