General Operative

Location: Bristol Airport, BS48, Lulsgate Bottom, North Somerset

Salary/Rate: £14.80/hour PAYE or £18.50/hour CIS 47.5 hours per week

Amalga Limited 

• Amalga Limited is a specialist airport construction logistics contractor
• Awarded a contract at Bristol Airport to support a major construction project
• Providing construction logistics support during the day and at night
• General Operatives required to report to our supervisor

General Operative Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe & timely movement of construction materials & staff to and from the landside to airside areas
• Removal of redundant waste & materials
• General Operatives to escort temporary pass holders
• Manual handling, site clearance, fire checks & site safety checks
• Supporting trades personnel
• Assisting with security-related duties
• General Operatives to conduct construction logistics tasks as required

General Operative Requirements:

• Valid Labourer CSCS Card
• Construction/Airport experience
• Verifiable 5-year work / education history with no disqualifying convictions
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous Bristol Airport experience useful not essential
• Must be IT Literate with the ability to pass online training
• Excellent communication skills
