We''re looking for reliable team players to join our clients busy manufacturing team in Perth Monday - Friday - Day shifts (with early finish on Fridays)Overtime also available at time and a half. There are also opportunities to progress into different areas of the business.Responsibilities:As a General Operative, you''ll be at the heart of our manufacturing team, supporting a clean and efficient workspace. Your key responsibilities include:Painting and Facility Upkeep: - Painting floors, line markings, and touch-ups. - Light painting tasks on walls and railings. - Preparing surfaces for painting (sweeping, cleaning, basic sanding). - Previous painting experience is a plus, but training will be provided! General Housekeeping: - Keeping the shop floor immaculate. - Operating floor-cleaning machinery (training provided). - Regularly emptying bins and managing waste disposal. - Maintaining tidy walkways and communal spaces. Basic Maintenance and Odd Jobs: - Assisting with minor repairs and upkeep. - Supporting ad-hoc tasks as they arise. - Promptly reporting maintenance issues. - Using hand tools as needed (e.g., screwdrivers, brushes).
