General Manufacturing Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within an industry leading manufacturing organisation based in Stevenston. This is initially a temporary ongoing role with potential opportunity to go permanent for the right candidates as roles arise. Purpose of the RoleTo undertake the assembly of small components in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner while developing the skills and knowledge required to progress into a fully competent Operator position. This is a day shift role Monday -Thursday 7am - 4.45pm. However, overtime on an attractive hourly rate may be offered. Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble small components and sub-assemblies in line with work instructions and production schedules.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements at all times.Carry out visual inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.Identify and report defects, shortages, equipment issues, or other production concerns.Maintain accurate production records where required.Work safely and comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.Keep workstations clean, organised, and maintain standards.Meet productivity targets while maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssentialGood attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work.Ability to work effectively as part of a ..... full job details .....
