As the General Manager of Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar, you will be the most senior person in the restaurant, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant''s operations. This includes managing ordering, inventory, financial performance, staff management, training and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

General Manager - The role

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Lead, train, and support staff to maintain high performance and morale.

Ensure excellent customer service and handle any guest issues promptly.

Manage scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews.

Monitor stock, ordering, and cost control measures.

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Analyse financial reports to drive revenue and control costs.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high street bar or high-volume restaurant setting.

Strong financial understanding, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.

Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using restaurant management software and MS Office applications.

Passionate about delivering exceptional experiences.

A team player with a collaborative approach to leadership.
