We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead our newly expanded Vertu Honda Plymouth dealership.

As one of the largest Motor Retailers in the UK, Vertu Motors continued success is based on strong performance, growth, and leadership and this is especially true in our Honda, Cars Division. Our Vertu Honda Plymouth dealership is one of the 17 Honda Car businesses that we operate in the UK, from Morpeth in the Northeast, to Truro in the Southwest. It has exciting potential for the right candidate, who, if successful, will join the largest Honda retailer in Europe.

Responsibilities

Be accountable for all aspects of the business, fostering manufacturer relationships, ensuring the operational excellence of the business, while driving finance and cost control and of course, people management.

You must possess strong leadership skills, as your primary focus will be to motivate and inspire your team to be the best that they can be.

Ensure that policies, processes, and legislation are adhered to, and that customer and colleague health and safety is prioritised.

Qualifications / Requirements

The successful candidate must have previous experience as a General Manager within the sector.

We are looking for a leader who is highly driven to deliver performance through all departments, whilst fully focused on giving the highest level of customer satisfaction to our customers.

The successful applicant will demonstrate value and goal driven mindset, ambition to work with Honda, and passion about this iconic brand.

You will be accountable for leading and developing an established team with integrity, energy, and commitment.
