General Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced General Manager to lead a busy, high-volume operational site. This is a senior leadership position with overall responsibility for the management, performance and direction of the business, leading a large and diverse team and driving a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement and customer service. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in laundry, linen, textiles or another high-volume production/manufacturing environment. The RoleAs General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the site, ensuring operational, financial and customer service objectives are achieved. Key responsibilities will include: Providing strong leadership, direction and support across the business. Leading and motivating a large, diverse workforce, creating high levels of employee engagement. Overseeing production, engineering, logistics and customer service functions. Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and employee wellbeing. Monitoring and reporting on key site KPIs, including productivity, rejects, shortages, energy, fuel, payroll and other expenditure. Maintaining full budgetary control across areas of responsibility.
