With a revitalised space and a renewed commitment to excellence, we are building a brand-new team that reflects the high standards and vision of the pub.We are looking for a charismatic, hands-on General Manager to lead the relaunch and drive the long-term success of The Wheatsheaf. This is a high-profile role for someone who thrives on being at the heart of the action—leading from the front, inspiring their team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.Role and Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards across the board. Lead, motivate and develop the team, setting the tone with a positive, can-do attitude Work closely with the Chef Director to grow food sales through events, promotions and upselling. Drive commercial performance, including achieving a net GP of 70%+ and maintaining staff costs at or below 35%. Champion health and safety, compliance and licensing requirements. Play a key role in helping the business achieve industry recognition and accolades in 2026 and beyond
