The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes, an independent sports bar founded over a decade ago, is on the lookout for a General Manager to join our team. We’ve built our reputation on creating a sporting experience like no other – a place that brings the stadium atmosphere into the bar while serving an exciting range of speciality food and drinks. This is a position of significant importance within the business, and we’re seeking someone with strong character, drive, and energy to take our Leeds site to the next level. You’ll be taking charge of a venue that, just last year, underwent a £500,000 refurbishment to celebrate its 10th anniversary – giving you the opportunity to lead a truly first-class hospitality space. Our regulars feel like family to us, so you’ll need to be someone who thrives on building relationships as well as delivering excellence in service and standards.Salary: £34,000 per year + £10,000 Bonus + BenefitsWhat You’ll Be Doing

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the venue and for inspiring and leading your team every day. Your duties will include:Opening and closing the venueEngaging with guests and ensuring memorable experiencesCreating and managing staff rotasConducting nightly line checksManaging stock and overseeing cash handlingTraining, coaching, and developing the staff and management team to deliver excellent serviceDriving performance against all targets and goals setTaking charge of the day-to-day operations with a focus on standards, service, and cultureWhat We Offer You
