You ll set the direction for the home, support your team to deliver consistently high standards and create a welcoming environment where residents feel safe, valued and at home. The Opportunity: As General Manager, you will take responsibility for the home s overall performance, balancing care quality, team development, regulatory compliance and financial sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the day-to-day operation of a large residential care home. Delivering person-centred care that respects residents choices, dignity and independence. Maintaining strong standards of safeguarding, governance and CQC compliance. Recruiting, developing and retaining a capable, motivated team. Managing budgets, staffing costs and resources effectively. Supporting occupancy through strong enquiry management and local relationships. Building trust with residents, families, healthcare professionals and referral partners. Using audits, feedback and performance information to drive continuous improvement.
