We are looking for a General Manager for a wonderful premium lifestyle club on the outskirts of Kent/Southeast London with lots of potential. The club champions junior and adult members to be more active and has a real sense of community hosting regular events.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, develop and inspire your team, fostering a culture of service excellence and drive for results.

Support your department heads deliver a best in class offering to ensure the right products are seamlessly delivered at the right time to maximise participation and secondary spend.

Work closely with the Membership department to develop the proactive sales strategy.

Develop and grow a calendar of events for members and non-members to enjoy.

Full financial accountability; profit and loss, income, expenditure, debtors; helping set the budgets and business plan.

Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained, clean and safe at all times.

The ideal person

Well-groomed, highly personable and professional with outstanding hospitality skills.

Hands-on and strategic approach to leadership with an ownership mentality and entrepreneurial flair.

At least 3 years'' leadership experience as a General Manager/ Club Manager preferably within a membership environment such as hospitality, hotels, leisure, fitness, racquets or golf.

Experience of overseeing a busy food and beverage operation.

Experience in managing a sales function and growing sales.

Flexible to work a mixture of hours to suit the needs of the business including weekends during peak periods.
