Overview
Pillars Brewery are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to be responsible for the management of The Untraditional Pub venue, located within CRATE St James Street. We are looking for someone that is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day running of The Untraditional Pub. Primarily, the pub manager will be responsible for ordering stock, setting the rota, managing stock systems, cellar maintenance and organising events. They will be expected to work most peak hours to ensure the efficient and safe running of the venue.Weekly working hours are a minimum of 40 hours per week. Bonuses will be paid for hitting gross margin, % wage cost and net revenue targets.Primary Responsibilities
Ordering stock and managing stock systemsOrganising events and tastingsRota managementEnsure compliance with all health and safety lawGrowing pub revenuesProduce daily report for managementQuarterly staff appraisalsMaintain agreed staff cost percentageExit interviews with feedback to managementMaintain agreed product gross marginWeekly bulletin message to staff to keep them up to dateEnsure senior staff (supervisor or above) is on site at all timesTrain up new starts and introduce them to the wider Pillars teamWeekly meeting with managementLiaise with CRATE operations for events etc.Qualifications and Experience
Experience in AM/GM role or 5+ years experience in the industryPassion for craft beerPersonal license is desirableSeniority level
