The opportunity:

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit the newly created position of General Manager. We have an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to join us and lead the business forward at this exciting time of growth of our Banbury based client. You will be responsible for the overall operations and performance of the business and its activities. We are looking for the General Manager to also maintain operational efficiencies as well as fostering a positive workplace culture.

If you have…Essential:
  • Proven experience of operations management
  • Proven people management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Numerate, proven experience of P&L, numerate understanding and budgetary control
  • Business management skills
  • IT literate; Microsoft Office (Excel - intermediate/advanced, PowerPoint, Word, Email)
  • Line management experience.
  • Understanding of current health and safety procedure
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of exhibitions sector
  • Established network within the events & exhibitions sector and show organisers.
