They''re now looking for a General Manager to lead one of their flagship Liverpool residences. This is an opportunity to join a well-established, high-performing site with a fantastic team already in place. The building is performing strongly, the culture is excellent, and the business continues to invest heavily in both its people and its growth.

This role is perfect for an experienced PBSA leader or someone from a strong BTR, hospitality, or customer-focused operational background who loves developing people, building relationships, and creating an environment where both residents and team members thrive.

Above all, we''re looking for a big personality. Someone who can bring energy to the building, inspire a team, build strong relationships with residents, and create a positive atmosphere every day.

What you''ll be doing

• Leading and inspiring a well-established on-site team, creating a culture of accountability, support, and high performance.
• Coaching and developing team members, helping individuals reach their potential and supporting future progression opportunities across the business.
• Driving an exceptional resident experience, ensuring students feel welcomed, supported, safe, and proud to call the building home.
• Taking ownership of the building''s operational performance, ensuring high standards are maintained across all areas.
• Managing building safety and compliance, including statutory checks, PPM schedules, health and safety requirements, and audit readiness.
• Monitoring KPIs, occupancy levels, resident satisfaction, rebookers, and overall commercial performance.
• Working closely with senior leadership to continuously improve service delivery and operational excellence.
• Handling incidents and challenges with professionalism, calmness, and sound judgement.
• Acting as the face of the building, building strong relationships with residents, universities, contractors, and local stakeholders.

What we''re looking for

• Previous PBSA management experience is highly desirable.
• We would also welcome applications from strong Build to Rent, hospitality, retail or wider operational management backgrounds.
• A natural people leader who genuinely enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
• Someone with a big personality who can energise a team and create a positive culture.
• Strong understanding of compliance, health and safety, building operations, and service delivery.
• Commercially aware, organised, and able to balance people, performance, and customer experience.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys being visible, approachable, and involved in the day-to-day operation.
• Someone who aligns with a down-to-earth culture and leads by example.
