Vehicle Sales Manager / General Manager
Salary: -45,000 - -100,000 per annum
Location: Dorset
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Manager or, for highly experienced candidates, a Selling General Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume motorcycle retail operation.
The business represents a range of market-leading motorcycle brands alongside emerging entrants, with both new and used sales contributing to ambitious annual targets. This is a hands-on, demanding role offering an exceptional remuneration package for a high-performing individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a high-volume motorcycle sales operation, including used all-makes inventory management.
Deliver annual new vehicle sales targets (circa 450 units) and exceed used vehicle sales targets (600+ units).
Maximise revenue through upselling parts, accessories, clothing, GAP, and warranty products.
Implement and embrace effective sales processes and enquiry management technology.
Develop and maintain a CRM strategy to build a strong community reputation.
Provide inspiring leadership to create an engaged and motivated team.
Collaborate with marketing to support events and promotional activities.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a high-volume motorcycle or automotive retail environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Commercially minded with a focus on sales growth, targets, and customer experience.
Confident with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
Working Hours:
Typically 40 hours per week, including Saturdays (day off provided during the week).
Occasional Sunday attendance may be required for special events.
