We are seeking a manager with experience in developing the standards and reputation of a gym, nurturing a growing membership base and team.Responsibilities

Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.Maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard.Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks. Report and chase all defects to ensure the building and its equipment are safe to use.Recruit and manage a team of employed Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure the club is operational and daily expectations are delivered.Hold regular team meetings to aid development and keep everyone updated.Work toward and aim to achieve all sales and membership targets that are set.Drive and maximise secondary spending revenue.Ensure the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.Manage in-house cleaners to maintain high cleaning standards and oversee weekly banking to minimise wastage and maximise profit.Ensure uniform standards among all team members and yourself.Deliver outstanding member service and foster a positive work environment for the team.Be an ambassador of JD Gyms.Skills and Experience

Proven and successful management experience within a leisure-related industry.Passion for customer service and able to inspire and lead others.Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.Proven track record in driving sales, coordinating local marketing activity, and recruiting/managing a successful team.Ideally experience as a General Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility, or substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or similar operational role.We offer benefits including staff discount on JD Group and other brands, plus personal development opportunities.Seniority level
