General Manager (HGV)

General Manager (HGV) Based in Armagh, my client is a leading HGV company who are one of the market leaders in their field and who have a low turnover of staff. They rarely recruit due to their excellent work environment, and they are seeking to hire a General Manager with a HGV dealership or haulage company background. This role would suit someone who is currently working as a General Manager or someone who is currently working as a Service / Workshop Manager who is looking for a step forward with their career. This is a senior leadership position with significant autonomy, responsibility and authority. On offer is a salary of £50,000 - £60,000, company vehicle, bonus etc. This is a Monday to Friday based position with no weekend work. Role - General Manager Full operational responsibility for the day-to-day running, growth and performance of the facility. Responsible for leading workshop operations, bodyshop activity, repair planning, staff development, customer relationships and operational performance. You will also be expected to maintain a strong presence on the workshop floor, ensuring jobs are completed to the highest standards, within agreed timescales and in line with customer expectations.
