AR852 - General ManagerLocation: EnfieldSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Vehicle and BonusOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a General Manager on behalf of one of our clients.The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a well-established manufacturing business within the interior design sector, specialising in premium, handcrafted decorative products. This is a key leadership role overseeing both office-based functions and on-site production operations, ensuring strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and a high-performing team culture.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however; all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities: Full ownership of PandL performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Lead, manage and develop both office and production teams.Oversee daily operations across manufacturing, logistics, and administration.Drive operational improvements and efficiencies across the site.Ensure production output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets.Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to support business growth.Implement and monitor KPIs across all departments.Maintain a strong focus on health and safety and compliance.Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
