An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations of a new independent boutique hotel located near Warminster, Somerset, opening in late September 2025.

This unique property will feature a multi-rosette-standard kitchen, an extensive outdoor cooking space, and a strong focus on local, seasonal produceandmdash;creating a high-quality food and hospitality experience, with South West charm.

Weandrsquo;re looking for a hands-on, hospitality-led General Managerandnbsp;with a passion for excellence, team building, and delivering exceptional guest service in a distinctive, independent environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front of house, Fandamp;B, housekeeping, and guest experience.

• 
  

  Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver a food offering aligned with multi-rosette standards and the hotelandrsquo;s seasonal, local ethos.

• 
  

  Lead and inspire a newly recruited team, instilling a positive and professional working culture from day one.

• 
  

  Manage budgets, staffing, supplier relationships, compliance, and guest satisfaction metrics.

• 
  

  Act as the face of the business, ensuring a warm and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  

  Proven experience as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in a high-end, independent property.

• 
  

  Strong understanding of hospitality operations, with experience working alongside a multi-rosette kitchen.

• 
  

  Passion for locally sourced food and drink, and a genuine connection to the values of seasonal, sustainable hospitality.<
