General Maintenance OperativeLocation: NewportJob type: PermanentHours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pmSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annumHawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a hands-on, reliable General Maintenance Operative to join our clients growing facilities team supporting a range of commercial sites across the UK.This is a varied and practical role where no two days are the same, covering everything from planned upkeep to reactive repairs across self-storage facilities, office spaces, and retail locations.The role: General building maintenance and repairs (including roofing and cladding)Plumbing repairs and basic installationsJoinery and carpentry workPainting and decorating tasksTiling and flooring repairs, including carpetsExternal works such as paving and drainage maintenanceGrounds upkeep and general site clearancePressure washing external areasFurniture assembly, relocation and removalSupporting both planned preventative maintenance and reactive works About you: At least 3 years'' experience in building maintenance or similar multi-skilled trade roleNVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent qualification)Experience with roofing and cladding (desirable)CSCS card (advantageous but not essential)Full UK driving licenseAbility to work independently and manage own workloadStrong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlinesCompetent using IT systems to log work completed and associated costsGood understanding of health and safety practices, including ..... full job details .....
