Job Title: General Maintenance Operative / HandypersonLocation: HarrogateSalary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (rotating shifts) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Maintenance Operative / Handyman to join an established business. You will support the maintenance, security and general appearance of the site, carrying out a variety of practical and operational duties. Responsibilities of General Maintenance Operative / Handyperson: Secure buildings and respond to alarms and emergency call-outs Carry out general repairs, plumbing, heating, painting and maintenance Identify and report hazards and defects Prepare rooms for events and meetings Assist with deliveries, waste and recycling Respond appropriately to emergencies Follow safeguarding, health and safety and site procedures Skills and Experience: Previous maintenance, caretaking or handyperson experience Full clean driving licence Basic IT, English and numeracy skills Good understanding of health and safety and COSHH Comfortable working at height with appropriate training Reliable, flexible and physically capable Strong teamwork and communication skills Professional approach In return, you will receive £30,000 - £31,000 per annum, plus several fantastic benefits working for an established workplace.
