This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on maintenance and DIY skills who takes pride in maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented living environments for residents.Role DescriptionAs a General Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day maintenance of the student accommodation. You will carry out a variety of general maintenance and minor repair tasks, ensuring the building and facilities remain in excellent condition. The role requires a practical, self-motivated individual who can work independently and respond efficiently to maintenance needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out general building maintenance and minor repairsCompleting DIY and handyman tasks, including fixing lights, fixtures, fittings, and furnitureBasic painting, decorating, and touch-up workSupporting the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of the student accommodationIdentifying and reporting any significant maintenance issues or health and safety concernsEnsuring all work is completed to a professional standardRequirementsProven experience in general maintenance, or a similar roleStrong practical skills and a good understanding of basic repairs and maintenanceAbility to work ..... full job details .....
