General Labourer (Powder coating department)

Major Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated General Labourer to join our dynamic Powder Coating Department for our prestigious client based in Normanton. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established, forward-thinking signage company, working in a supportive and fast-paced production environmentHours of Work:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM one week, followed by 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM the next week, alternating weekly.Key ResponsibilitiesSand and rub metal parts to prepare surfaces for powder coatingClean parts thoroughly to remove dust, oil, and other contaminantsMask areas that should not be coatedHang and remove parts from racks or hooks safely and efficientlyFollow instructions from team leaders and supervisorsMaintain a clean, tidy, and safe work areaWear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to health and safety regulations RequirementsNo previous experience required - full training will be providedWillingness to learn and follow instructionsGood attention to detailPhysically fit and able to stand for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and a strong team player Working ConditionsFast-paced production environmentExposure to dust, noise, and heatUse of PPE is mandatoryOvertime may be required, depending on workloadThis is a temporary to Permaent role ..... full job details .....
