General Labourer

Novara People are currently recruiting for a General Labourer to join a well-established metal manufacturing business based in Halifax.Our client supplies high-quality fabricated metal products to a wide range of industries across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support their busy production team.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and wants to build a long-term career within manufacturing. 12.71ph Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm X2 15 min breaks AM and PM30 minute lunch9.5 hours paid per dayDutiesAssisting with the preparation and movement of metal materials around the workshopLoading and unloading deliveries safelySupporting Fabricators and Welders with day-to-day production tasksUsing hand and power tools where requiredGrinding, deburring and finishing metal componentsPacking and preparing finished products for dispatchKeeping the workshop clean, tidy and organisedDisposing of scrap materials safelyFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesCarrying out any other general labouring duties as requiredSkills:Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or labouring environment is beneficial but not essentialPhysically fit and happy carrying out manual workReliable, punctual and hardworkingPositive attitude with a willingness to learnAble to work well as part of a teamGood attention to detailHealth and safety consciousOwn transport is advantageous due to the early ..... full job details .....
