General Labourer / Forklift Operator

Job Title: General Labourer / Forklift Operator.
Location: Near Burton.
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday to Thursday), 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Friday) - 40 hours per week.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable General Labourer / Forklift Operator to join our team during an exciting period of site expansion. The role involves moving stock and materials across the site, ensuring production areas are kept fully supplied, and assisting with general labouring duties. This is a varied role that will suit someone with a labouring or warehouse background who enjoys keeping active throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

Move stock and materials around the site to support production and site expansion.
Supply and replenish materials to workstations as required.
Operate a forklift truck (B1 licence required) to transfer goods safely and efficiently.
Carry out general labouring and housekeeping tasks across the site.
Assist with keeping work areas tidy and organised.
Work proactively to support smooth operations across all departments.

Person Specification:

Previous labouring, warehouse, or similar background preferred.
Valid B1 forklift licence (essential).
Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with physical work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive, proactive approach to supporting day-to-day operations.
