General Foreman - Tunnelling Project Location: DerbyContract: 12 MonthsRate: £330 -£350 per day We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman to join a major tunnelling project based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant infrastructure scheme, working alongside an established project team on a long-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme, quality, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. Supervise direct labour, subcontractors, and plant resources to maximise productivity and programme performance. Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across the site. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions, ensuring all personnel understand project requirements and safe systems of work. Monitor progress against the construction programme and proactively identify and resolve site issues. Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, Engineers, and commercial team to ensure effective project delivery.
