General Foreman / Site Manager

Our client, a principal contractor in the water and civil engineering sector, is seeking a General Foreman / Site Manager for a contract position on a major wastewater treatment works project near Bournemouth. The role will involve supervising site operations, coordinating construction activities and supporting the successful delivery of civil engineering works in a safety-critical environment.Key Responsibilities:Supervising daily site operations across the wastewater treatment works projectCoordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project progressMonitoring civil engineering and water infrastructure works to ensure compliance with drawings and specificationsMaintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental performanceAllocating labour, plant and materials effectively across the siteWorking closely with the Site Manager, engineers and project management teamIdentifying and resolving site issues to support the programme and delivery milestonesCompleting site records, inspections and progress updates as requiredJob Requirements:Experience as a General Foreman, Site Manager or similar position within civil engineeringBackground in the water industry, wastewater treatment or utilities constructionStrong understanding of construction methods, site coordination and civil engineering worksKnowledge of health and safety requirements within a construction environmentAbility to supervise teams and manage subcontractor activities ..... full job details .....
