General Foreman or Supervisor - WaterWater Infrastructure - Southampton Area Long-Term Contract - Umbrella PAYE Carrington West are recruiting for 2 experienced General Foremen / Supervisors to join a major water infrastructure project in Hampshire. The successful candidates will support the delivery of a significant clean water pipeline scheme between Winchester and Southampton, involving the installation of approximately 15km of iron pipeline. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability and the chance to work on a high-profile water infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day site activities and site teams.Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements.Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.Coordinate subcontractors, operatives and plant on site.Oversee excavation, pipe installation, testing and commissioning activities.Ensure Temporary Works requirements are understood and implemented.Maintain site records and project documentation.Use project management systems including 4Projects and FieldView.Identify changes in site conditions and make informed decisions to maintain safety and programme delivery.Promote a positive safety culture and stop works where necessary if conditions or plans change.
