General Foreman - Tunnelling and CivilsLocation: Pakington Rate: Dependent on experienceWe are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman to join a leading tunnelling contractor on a major project based in Pakington.This role will play a key part in delivering complex works including shaft sinking, tunnelling operations and civils, ensuring safe and efficient site delivery.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day site operations across tunnelling and civil worksSupervise site teams and subcontractorsManage works involving shaft sinking, tunnelling, and associated infrastructureEnsure all works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety requirementsConduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily coordinationLiaise with engineers, site management, and key stakeholdersOrder materials and manage site logistics to maintain programme deliveryRequirements:Proven experience as a General Foreman within tunnelling projectsSMSTSStrong background in shaft sinking, civil, or water worksComputer literate, with the ability to complete paperwork and use site systemsExperience managing site teams and subcontractorsSolid understanding of HandS procedures and site complianceAbility to work on fast-paced, technically complex projectsThis is a great opportunity to join a specialist contractor on a high-profile tunnelling scheme.
