Freelance General Foreman (GF) - Harwich AreaLocation: Harwich and surrounding areas Contract Type: Freelance (CIS) Rate: 350 per day CIS Start Date: Immediate Short Term Cover - 1-3 MonthsAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman (GF) to support construction and civil engineering projects across the Harwich area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, and plant.Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks.Monitor progress against programme and report any issues.Ensure quality standards and project specifications are achieved.Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to maximise productivity.Complete site records, inspections, and reports.Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, clients, and stakeholders.Promote excellent housekeeping and safety standards on site.RequirementsPrevious experience as a General Foreman within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.Valid SMSTS or SSSTS.CSCS Card.First Aid at Work.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.Full UK Driving Licence.Availability to work across sites in and around Harwich.What We Offer 350 per day CISImmediate start availableDiverse ..... full job details .....
