The company have operated in this region for many years and have a secured worked load made up of long-term frameworks, across environmental and highways and broader civil engineering. Due to a continually expanding pipeline of work, my client requires a General Foreman to work on highways, groundworks, bridge refurbishment, utilities, and traffic management across their sites in Bristol & North Somerset. What the employer is looking for: Proven experience as a General Foreman or Site Supervisor in civil engineering. Strong groundworks and highways experience. Experience coordinating utility diversions with service providers. Experience working within traffic management/live highway environments. Ability to manage several work fronts and lead direct labour and subcontractors. Good understanding of HSEQ requirements and site documentation. SSSTS or SMSTS certification. CSCS card.
