General Foreman - New Build Care Home

We''re looking for a hands-on General Foreman to join a respected contractor delivering a new build care home in Telford. This is a key role supporting site management with the day-to-day running of the project - keeping things safe, productive, and on track.
We need someone who knows how to run a site, can motivate teams, check the quality, and keep standards high. You''ll be expected to use site systems, digital tools, and H&S reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily oversight of trades and subcontractors - ensuring progress and productivity
- Checking quality of work, cleanliness, and site standards
- Monitoring and enforcing Health & Safety compliance
- Reporting issues and progress to the Site Manager
- Supporting toolbox talks and RAMS briefings
- Helping maintain programme momentum and problem-solving on site
What We''re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a General Foreman or similar supervisory role
- Solid knowledge of build process, particularly traditional construction
- Good communicator who can manage people without shouting
- Competent with digital site systems (tablet reporting, site diaries, H&S apps)
- Valid CSCS card, First Aid, and SSSTS or SMSTS
