This role is pivotal in overseeing and coordinating highway construction projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing day-to-day operations on highway construction sites
- Ensuring that projects are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinating with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors
- Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to stay on schedule
- Managing and motivating site teams to achieve project goals
- Reporting on project status and any issues to senior management
- Inspecting completed works to ensure they meet quality standards
